Breakin' Convention: Canada will be the first the first Canadian installment of the internationally renowned festival of Hip-hop dance theatre known as  Breakin’ Convention.  Since its  London induction in 2004 the dance event has brought hip-hop dance to prominent stages with performers from every part of the world including industry influencers Electric Boogaloos, Korean B-Boy champions Project Soul and Canada’s own Rubberbandance Group. Theatre artist Jonzi D. will direct and host the shows alongside graffiti art, old skool funk and breakbeats DJs which have inspired many freestyle circles. Free activities will take place on May 6th in the evening and May 7th in the afternoon.
