The 45th annual Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto brings another three-week cultural phenomena of Caribbean music, cuisine, visual and performing arts. Being a prominent international event and the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America the city of Toronto will pulse with the rhythms and melodies of Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Hip Hop, Chutney, Steel Pan and Brass Bands.

Toronto's multicultural and multiracial society as well as visitors from around the world will be transported to a celebration of costumes and band displays so elaborate and breath-taking the only thing to do is dance along to the African Drumming. Be sure to visit the Arts and Crafts displays celebrating "Things Caribbean"!

In 2012, Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto season is destined to be six (6) weeks culminating in the pinnacle of Parade Day on the Lakeshore with a kaleidoscope of music, colourful costumes, theatrical mas band displays, steel bands beating intricate orchestrations coupled with mouth watering feasts of Caribbean cuisine and delicacies.
