Enigmatic musician The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfaye became an online sensation in 2011 when he gave away three mixtapes online. After much aversion he’s now signed to Universal Republic. His popularity continues to sky rocket as a fourth show was added to his Toronto appearance. Being a Toronto native it’s only appropriate that his hometown appearance would bring much excitement! After spending the past year opening for Florence & the Machine across the U.S. and playing the Lollapalooza festival.
